Low-Power ADCs from ZMD

ZMD AG, Dresden, Germany and Melville, NY, offers the SARah family of SAR ADCs available in 8-, 10-, or 12-bit versions; with internal or external references; and 2, 4, or 8 channels. Sampling rates are up to 300 Ksps with ±0.25 LSB DNL, ±0.25 LSB INL, temperature range of –25°C to 85°C, a shutdown pin, software-controllable shutdown modes, rapid turn-on time, and a serial interface that supports SPI, QSPI, and Microwire. The devices have also been designed to work together in applications that require large numbers of ADC channels. A USB-based demonstration and development platform is available.
