Intensified CCD Cameras from Hamamatsu

C10054 Series compact, intensified CCD cameras from Hamamatsu Corp., Bridgewater, NJ, are designed to capture still images or continuous video of high-speed or ultra low-light phenomena. Cameras feature an electronic shutter with shutter time down to 5 ns, image intensifiers to increase light available for detection by the CCD, and spectral responses from UV to near IR. The camera head has either a TV format-type CCD or a progressive scan CCD; image resolution is up to 480 TV lines. Three different types of photocathodes are available: GaAsP with spectral response from 280–720 mm, GaAs with spectral response from 370–920 mm, and multi-alkali with spectral response from 185–900 nm.
