The AD8250 and AD8251 from
Analog Devices Inc., Norwood, MA, are digitally programmable instrumentation amplifiers that offer bandwidth of up to 12 MHz and draw 3.5 mA. Available in 10-lead MSOP packages, the amplifiers operate with ±5 V to ±12 V power supplies and feature 0.5 µs settling time to 0.01%, 1 µV/°C offset drift, and 10 ppm/°C gain drift. The digitally programmable gain setting lets you adjust gain even after the devices are designed into the system. The AD8250 offers gain settings of 1, 2, 5, and 10 and the AD8251 offers gain settings of 1, 2, 4, and 8.
