The FDAz from MEK Europe BV (formerly a div. of Marantz), Tilburg, The Netherlands, is an inspection head that enables the nine-camera AOI with tilt-shift and telecentric optics and with automatic z-axis. Part of the PowerSpector series, the FDAz features enhanced visual coverage on objects that would be hidden by a single orthogonal camera. There is reduced image distortion with one orthogonal and eight side-capturing cameras in 10µ resolution. The side cameras inspect components and find defects with an exact 45° angled wide view.
