The 1.3/2.3 Mpixel cameras have frame rates up to 30 frames/s, feature low power consumption, and either USB or FireWire interfaces. A software development kit is included. The 195 g (USB) or 250 g (FireWire) Pixie consumes 3.8 W and has a 60 dB dynamic range. The Mini Pixie has a USB interface, 60 dB dynamic range, and 5 VDC power requirement. Cameras can be free-running or externally triggered and offer user-controlled image size, brightness, gain, frame rate, and exposure time.
