The MRF24J40MB from Microchip Technology Inc., Chandler, AZ, is a 2.4 GHz RF surface-mountable transceiver. The device adds 20 dBm of transmit power via an integrated power amplifier and –102 dBm of receive sensitivity via the integrated low noise amplifier to the IEEE 802.15.4-compliant transceiver, PCB antenna, and discrete matching circuitry. The ZigBee PRO protocol stack is certified. The module lets you accelerate time to market and mitigate development risk and can be combined with the company's 8-, 16-, and 32-bit PIC microcontrollers and dsPIC digital signal controllers.
