The AdvancedSense from GrayWolf Sensing Solutions, Shelton, CT, is a handheld environmental meter that incorporates an embedded Windows OS, built-in differential and barometric pressure sensors, and the ability to simultaneously connect as many as 20 extra sensors. You can measure your choice of TVOCs, carbon dioxide, air velocity, particulates, and specific gases. You can log instantaneously as a snapshot, log trend data over time, or set up the meter to automatically log over a specific time interval; you an also interrupt a trend logging session to perform spot checks and then resume logging. Other features include the ability to annotate data files, access educational information, and create reports.
