POSICHRON PCST26 magnetostrictive position sensors from
ASM Sensors Inc., Elmhurst, IL, are designed for use inside mobile hydraulic cylinders with reduced installation space conditions. The absolute contact-free sensor provides either 0–10 V or 4–20 mA analog or pulse output start/stop or SSI digital outputs. The device is resistant to shock and vibrations and has sensor electronics housed in an external circuit. You can adjust measurement range and zero position. Measurement ranges are up to 5750 mm and protection classes are up to IP69K. Linearity is ±0.02% F.S. and repeatability is 0.001%.
