Harsh Environment Inertial Sensors from Colibrys

The MS9000 family of inertial accelerometers from Colibrys Ltd., Neuchâtel, Switzerland, are supplied in an 8.9 mm by 8.9 mm ceramic package and in a variety of ranges from ±2 g to ±250 g. Designed for harsh environment and safety-critical applications, the sensors operate over a –55°C to 125°C range and offer bias stability (over 48 hr.) from <0.05 mg typ. to <6.25 mg typ, depending on model. The MEMS capacitive sensor includes a low-power ASIC for signal conditioning, a microcontroller for storage of compensation values, and a temperature sensor. Devices conform to MIL-STD-883-E.
