The PS-7 from DOD Technologies Inc., Crystal Lake, IL, is an extractive fixed gas detection system for toxic, corrosive, and flammable gases. The universal sample-draw system uses smart sensor modules that are easy to replace and don't need calibration. To detect a different gas you insert the necessary sensor module. Features include standard built-in relays, 2 levels of adjustable gas alarms and system faults, 4–20 mA outputs, and optional communication protocols such as DeviceNet.
