FS-480 Series flow switches from Gems Sensors & Controls Inc., Plainville, CT, accommodate fluid pressures up to 1000 psi and offer switch points of 0.50–3.00 gpm. Suited for use in semiconductor manufacture and critical medical equipment, the switches feature ±20% max. set-point accuracy, 20% max. set-point differential, operating temperature range of –28.8°C to 121°C, and 3/4 in. NPT, 1/2 in. NPT, and 1/2 in. tube-end compression fitting connection points. The switches have a forged 316 SS body, a glass-reinforced PPS piston, and incorporate an SPST reed switch.
