Data Translation, Marlboro, MA, offers the Ethernet (LXI) version of its TEMPpoint temperature measurement instrument. The device provides a standard Ethernet connection to support remote monitoring and control of thermocouples, RTDs, and voltages. Features include 48 dedicated 24-bit ADCs, 48 dedicated cold-junction compensation circuits for ±0.01% accuracy, 1000 V channel-to-channel galvanic isolation, auto-calibration, and automatic linearization of B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T standard thermocouples. The system provides constant throughput across all channels at rates up to 10 Hz/channel, easy connection of thermocouples, direct RTD connection, and 16 opto-isolated digital I/O. Software is included.
