Acromag Inc., Wixom, MI, offers its EtherStax ES2116, ES2117, and ES2118 high-density channel-isolated Ethernet I/O blocks for distributed I/O and SCADA applications. The blocks provide 32 discrete inputs and 16 outputs with a Modbus TCP/UDP/IP interface to a host controller. The ES2116 supports 97–132 VAC inputs, the ES2117 accepts 20–60 VDC inputs, and the ES2118 takes 105–135 VDC inputs. All blocks provide 5 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC SPST outputs and an alarm with a 5 A at 250 VAC or 24 VDC SPST. EtherStax units can operate as controller slaves or communicate independently between units; an embedded Web page provides configuration menus.
