I/O modules are configured independently of the fieldbus protocol and you can connect up to 32 I/O modules to a gateway for up to 512 digital I/O points or 128 analog channels. I/Oassistant software helps you perform initial configuration, parameter setup, documentation, commissioning, and diagnostic functions. The Profinet BL67 gateway is compatible with the company's BL ident RFID system.
