The 640e and 650e Series dynamic signal analyzers from IOtech, Cleveland, OH, have Ethernet connectivity, THD of –100 dB (typ.), 24-bit ADC/channel analog inputs, and 8-bit digital I/O. The 640e has 4 inputs and the 650e has 5 inputs. Each input may be used to measure acceleration, velocity, proximity, pressure, and tachometer signals. Features include tight channel-to-channel phase matching, TEDS and IEPE source support on the first 4 channels, and selectable AC/DC coupling. Four software packages are available: eZ-Analyst for throughput data recording and multiple-channel vibration analyses; eZ-TOMAS for online vibration measurement, limit checking, transient data storage, and rotating machinery analyses; eZ-Balance for balancing rotating machinery with up to 7 planes; and eZ-NDT for production applications.
