The BMA020 from Bosch Sensortec GmbH, Reutlingen, Germany, is an ultraflat, digital triaxial accelerometer designed for use in the consumer electronics market. The sensor has a 3 by 3 by 0.9 mm footprint, draws 1 µA current in standby mode (0.2 mA operating current), a user-programmable measurement range of ±2 g to ±8 g, 10-bit resolution, and SPI and I²C outputs.
