The stations can support up to 32 inputs or 16 dedicated inputs and 16 I/O on a DeviceNet network. FDN20 devices separate the I/O into 3 isolated groups that may be powered by an external source or by the DeviceNet bus. Outputs are short-circuit protected up to 0.5 A. The stations can be used to upgrade existing panels in automotive, pharmaceutical, chemical, and material handling industries.
