Credit Card Sized Computer Is Scalable For loT Apps

About the size of a credit card, the HummingBoard ARM-based computer groomed for Internet of Things (IoT) designs. It offers design flexibility, multiple connectivity options, and is currently available in three models. The HB-i1 has 512 MB of RAM, two USB ports and a Fast Ethernet network port. It's powered by Freescale's i.MX6 SoC and includes a 1-GHz ARM A9 core, video acceleration, and GPU engine capable of outputting 1080p video. The board also offers access to the computer's GPIO pins and CSI connector for direct connection to expansion boards, cameras, and more. The highest-end version, the HB-i2eX, comes with additional features, such as a more powerful GPU, 2 additional USB ports, mini PCIe expansion, and LVDS interface for connecting to touch screens.
