The Mini-VersaTRAK mIPm PLUS (mIPm+) RTU from SIXNET, Clifton Park, NY, is a compact RTU with Ethernet, up to 4 serial ports, and a built-in mix of 26 discrete and analog I/O. Preloaded with open-source Linux and the company's IPm firmware, the unit includes 64 Mb of Flash, 32 Mb of fast dynamic memory, and a 32-bit industrial PowerPC. Features include hot-swap capability, UL/CSA/CE ratings, and the ability to program using any mix of ISaGRAF IEC61131-3 languages, C/C++, and more. You can also add your own applications. The special-edition unit includes preloaded software for AGA gas flow calculations and DNP-3 time-stamped communications to suit the needs of the utilities industry.
