Designed for OEMs, the JENCOLOUR MTCS-TIAM1 from MAZeT GmbH, Jena, Germany, is a true-color sensor board with optical shutters. The sensor board, along with the company's MTCSiCS true-color sensor IC and MT104CQ transimpedance amplifier, can be provided with 2 optional white light LEDs and an aperture for screening from the environment. The color sensor IC integrates 19 by 3 silicon PIN photodiodes, which generate signal frequencies up to the MHz range, and can be used for general color detection and measurement in the consumer goods industry as portable color detectors/readers, in RGB-LCD backlight monitors, regulating RGB power LEDS, and detecting a variety of light sources.
