Can You Name The Top 100 Artificial Intelligence Companies?

CB Insights today named AEye to the AI 100, a select group of promising private companies working on artificial intelligence technology. This year's list was culled from 1000+ applications from companies using artificial intelligence in industries from drug discovery and cybersecurity to robotics and legal tech.

The CB Insights research team selected the AI 100 companies based on criteria, examining company-submitted data and the company’s Mosaic Score. The Mosaic Score, based on CB Insights’ National Science Foundation-funded algorithm, measures the overall health and growth potential of private companies. Through this evidence-based, statistically-driven approach, the Mosaic Score can help predict a company’s momentum, market health and financial viability.

Companies such as Zoox, Shield AI, Zest Finance, Dynamic Yield, Appier, and CognitiveScale joined AEye in being recognized for their innovative technology in front of an audience of 400 senior innovation executives from around the world and news outlets including The Financial Times, CNBC, Reuters, Bloomberg and the Washington Post.

AEye is a robotic perception pioneer. The company recently introduced iDAR, a new form of intelligent data collection that enables rapid, dynamic perception and path planning. iDAR combines the world’s first agile MOEMS LiDAR, pre-fused with a low-light camera and embedded artificial intelligence - creating software-definable and extensible hardware that can dynamically adapt to real-time demands. iDAR delivers higher accuracy, longer range, and more intelligent information to optimize path planning software, enabling radically improved autonomous vehicle safety and performance at a reduced cost. In addition to announcing the first solid state, vehicle mounted commercial LiDAR with 360-degree coverage this year, AEye has launched a developer program and will be announcing its suite of automotive products in early January.
