The CAN-IB300/PCI and CAN-IB400/PCI CAN cards for the PCI bus are expandable via modules with up to four CAN interfaces and come with an extensive driver and tool suite support. Due to their modular design, the new CAN-IB interfaces can be used in a wide variety of applications. Including the four high-speed CAN channels, the low-speed CAN standard is also supported and the interfaces can be equipped with up to four LIN or K-Line interfaces as well as user-specific interfaces upon request. The CAN-IB300/PCI is a cost-efficient passive card while the active CAN-IB400/PCI has a powerful 32-bit micro-controller system that enables intelligent handling and active filtering of the messages to be sent and received on the card. Both cards are supported by the IXXAT Windows driver packages (VCI) and the real-time driver packages (ECI for Linux, RTX, Intime, QNX, VxWorks). Similarly, IXXAT APIs for CANopen and SAE J1939 support the interfaces. For the analysis of CAN and CAN-FD networks, a Windows-based analytical tool with the IXXAT canAnalyser is available.
