Burns Engineering Expands Miniature RTD Line

Minnetonka, MN /PRWEB/ -- Burns Engineering has expanded the Series "A" family of miniature temperature sensors to include both Class A and Class B tolerances. These small, flexible resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) fit nearly anywhere and provide maximum performance for demanding applications within the pharma/biotech, sanitary, and industrial process industries. Designs include diameters of 0.080 in. to 0.250 in., with sensitive lengths of 0.36 in. or less, as well as 3- and 4-wire configurations and stainless steel or PFA sheaths.

The Class A sensors have a tolerance of ±0.05% and an operating range of –196°C to 200°C. The Class B sensors have a tolerance ±0.10% and an operating range of –50°C to 200°C.
