The Intelligent Battery and Power System from OceanServer Technology Inc., Fall River, MA, lets you add smart, rechargeable Li-ion battery back-up power to virtually any type of electronic and electromechanical equipment. The system serves as an AC/DC power supply, providing clean, regulated DC, sourced from Li-ion battery packs, an AC wall outlet, or any external DC source, including solar and wind power. The system recharges automatically when the power is restored and provides feedback such as charge and discharge rate, time to empty, and number of active batteries. A variety of battery management modules and DC converters are available, providing up to 760 Wh of high-density Li-ion power.
