The MBSTC-02 from Microbridge Technologies Inc., Montreal, Canada, is an active analog circuit that incorporates the company's passive polysilicon adjustable resistor technology (Rejustors). The device lets you perform sensor calibration and temperature compensation after final assembly and its low cost and high precision adjustment removes the requirement for digital signal conditioning. The adjustment process is isolated from the signal path. The device incorporates low-noise op amps with rejustors to provide signal conditioning with integrated temperature correction for use with sensors with a negative TC sensitivity. Rejustors can be field-adjusted to better than 0.1% tolerances.
