The USBPGF-S1 from Alligator Technologies, Costa Mesa, CA, is a USB-controlled single-channel programmable signal conditioning instrumentation amplifier and low-pass filter. The device can operate independently or can be controlled by a host computer. Each unit can be configured as an 8-pole Butterworth, Bessel, elliptic, or linear phase filter and can be independently wired for differential or single-ended measurement, attenuation to 90 dB, and AC or DC software-selected signal coupling. Software is included. The module is compatible with all 12-, 16-, or 24-bit ADCs and is suited for filtering applications in sound and vibration testing, ultrasonics, acoustics, structural analysis, industrial, test, scientific and laboratory data collection, and applied mechanical applications.
