Suited for use in mobile devices, the MS5607-B from Servoflo Corp., Lexington, MA, is a high-resolution altimeter sensor available with SPI and I²C interfaces. Pressure range is 10–1200 mbar, temperature compensated from –40°C to 85°C. Power supply is 1.8–3.6 V. Optimized for altimeters and variometers with an altitude resolution of 20 cm, the module includes a high-linearity pressure sensor and a low-power 24-bit ADC with internal factory-calibrated coefficients. A temperature output is also included. The device provides a digital 24-bit pressure and temperature value; different operation modes let you optimize for conversion speed and current consumption.
