(Perpetua), a leading provider of renewable energy solutions for wireless sensors, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Yokohama, Japan-based ALTIMA Corp., a subsidiary of Macnica Group, which is one of the leading distribution companies in Japan, specializing in a broad range of electronic components and equipment. Under the agreement, ALTIMA will distribute Perpetua's award-winning renewable energy solution products primarily in Japan, with limited distribution rights in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.

ALTIMA will be responsible for shipping Perpetua's award-winning line of Power Pucks and related demonstration kits into the Japanese wireless sensor network (WSN) market. As part of the distribution agreement, ALTIMA will also assist Perpetua explore other markets exploiting wearable energy harvesting systems for powering physiological and location sensors.
