The IP67-rated FAS8 from TURCK, Minneapolis, MN, is an advanced 8-port I/O module (AIM) for AS-interface networks. The device includes one digital PNP I/O signal per port with an option for 2 A outputs. The FAS8 station is designed to meet the AS-I V3.0 specification and features PNP short-circuit protected inputs, user notification through a fault signal indication if there is a short-circuit on any I/O point, and support for AS-I standard flat and round cable.
