The AS1504/05 family of low-power 8-channel, 8-bit DACs from
Austriamicrosystems AG, Unterpremstaetten, Austria, have shutdown and midscale reset and are suited for use as potentiometer replacements where electronic adjustments start at a nominal value. The devices feature typical INL of ±0.15 LSB, ±0.75 LSB max.; typical DNL of ±0.1 LSB, ±0.5 LSB max.; operation from a 2.7–5.5 V supply; and a 16-pin SOIC-150 package. The AS1505 provides independent control of max./min. values of the output voltage range and allows separate zero-sale voltage settings.
