Saving space while boosting efficiency, the NCS1 Series 1W dc/dc converter measures 21.87 mm x 11.3 mm x 8.2 mm and its maker claims it to be as much as 8% more efficient than similar devices currently available. The series offers two input-voltage versions accommodating the wide 4:1 input range of 4.5 to 18 Vdc around a 12-Vdc nominal, or 9 to 36 Vdc range around a 24 Vdc nominal.
