The MAX1300–MAX1303 and MAX1032–MAX1035 family of 16-/14-bit ADCs from Maxim Integrated Products, Sunnyvale, CA, have a ±12 V input range and have integrated software to let you remotely configure each input of equipment to a unique voltage range. Each input channel can be programmed with 7 different input ranges for single-ended inputs and 3 differential input ranges for differential inputs. Input ranges are ±24 V, ±12 V, ±6 V, ±3 V, 0–12 V, –12 to 0 V, 0–6 V, and –6 V to 0 V. ADCs offer up to 8 single-ended or 4 differential inputs and can be used with temperature, Wheatstone-bridge-based, and pressure sensors, PLCs, and 4–20 mA loop.
