The zSeries wireless sensor/transmitter system from Omega Engineering Inc., Santa Ana, CA, provides Web-based monitoring of temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure and can work with thermocouples and other transducers with analog outputs. High-power wireless sensors are designed for demanding industrial applications and harsh outdoor environments. The zED-DC-H2 wireless sensor/transmitter can run on 10–30 VDC or 24 VAC. Features include the ability to set alarms and be notified via email or text message. The coordinator/meter controller connects directly to an Ethernet network and serves active Web pages to display data.
