LEM

LEM, Geneva, Switzerland and Milwaukee, WI, has extended its Wi-LEM wireless local energy meter family with enhanced Energy Meter Nodes (EMN), the Wi-Pulse pulse counter, and the Wi-Zone temperature and humidity transducer to enable remote measurement and monitoring of electricity, water, and other metered utilities as well as temperature and humidity. RF power is now 10 mW. EMNs measure currents up to 2000 Arms and measure active, reactive, and apparent energy plus max. current and min. voltage. EMNs comprise an assembly from 1–3 current transducers with an integral signal processing module. The Wi-Pulse is a dual-input pulse counter that can count and transmit pulses generated by utility meters and can be connected to an existing Wi-LEM network. The Wi-Zone measures temperature and humidity and connects to a Wi-LEM network.
