Wireless Sensor Network from Wireless Sensors

SensiNet from Wireless Sensors Inc., Falmouth, ME, is a wireless sensor network for environmental monitoring in data centers, life sciences, and industrial applications. Battery-operated smart sensors are available for ambient temperature and humidity, RTDs, 4–20 mA, and contact closure inputs. The sensor nodes automatically form mesh sensor networks on power up and all configuration parameters are done over the air. Mesh routers extend the network backbone and relay network traffic, verify data integrity, and ensure end-to-end message transmission. The SensiNet Services Gateway provides network configuration and monitoring, data logging, trending, and alerting and supports Modbus TCP, OPC, Web Services, SOAP, SNMP, and ODBC protocols.
