Omega Engineering Inc., Stamford, CT, offers the UWRTD-NB9W Series of wireless RTD probe assemblies for sanitary applications. Each device combines a complete, ready-to-install, prewired Pt100 sensor and a wireless transmitter package. Each wireless unit will transmit measurements back to a host receiver up to 120 m away and each is factory assembled, tested, calibrated, and preprogrammed. The unit can transmit readings at preset time intervals programmed during initial setup and it measures and transmits process temperature, ambient temperature, wireless link signal strength, and battery condition. Data are displayed on a PC in real-time using the provided software.
