The InSite wireless online condition monitoring system from InCheck Technologies, Northbrook, IL, collects data locally using accelerometers coupled to wireless DA modules and then sends them to a remote server for processing and storage. You can log on to the server using a standard Web browser and access both the data and a set of tools for interactive vibration analysis. An interactive navigation tree shows real-time machine status. You can share data securely between maintenance personnel, management, and third-party consultants; alerts are delivered via email, text messages, and the user interface. The thread-mounted or embedded accelerometers use the Analog Devices ADXL001 MEMS accelerometer. The wireless DA modules have standard WiFi and Ethernet connectivity and have up to sixteen 16-bit data channels per module.
