The Limitless WLS Series switch from Honeywell Sensing and Control, Minneapolis, MN, uses noncontact technology, enabling the device to actuate based on the presence or absence of magnets installed on a customer's device. You can choose between top sensing or side sensing. The switch has IP67 and NEMA 1, 4, 12, and 13 ratings and all SS hardware. The radio uses a license-free RF wireless 802.15.4 WPAN protocol and has a 305 m line-of-sight range and prolonged battery life with advanced power management technology. Battery and signal diagnostics are standard. Applications include machine tools, packaging machinery, lifts, agricultural/construction equipment, and industrial machines.
