Honeywell, Phoenix, AZ, offers the OneWireless gauge reader that wirelessly monitors manual gauge readings from existing dial gauges. Developed in collaboration with Cypress Envirosystems, the gauge integrates with Honeywell's OneWireless mesh network designed to simultaneously accommodate thousands of field devices and multiple industrial protocols. The reader nonintrusively attaches to existing dial gauges without requiring process disruption or removal of old gauges. The gauge measurement data is displayed on operator consoles in the control room.
