The XPress DR+ Wireless from Lantronix Inc., Irvine, CA, is a rugged DIN rail mounted WiFi 802.11 device server to connect most types of industrial equipment to the LAN or the Internet. The server has 2 serial ports, 9–30 VDC or 9–24 VAC power input options, and SwitchPort+ platform technology, which lets you cascade multiple industrial serial devices from a single network backbone connection. The device implements the latest 802.11i encryption standard and is designed to tolerate high levels of electrical interference, severe shock, and vibration environments.
