The ZigSense Model ZS-P2MP-002 from Conlab Pty. Ltd., ZigSense Div., Doncaster East, Australia, is a wireless cable replacer system that supports point-to-multipoint (P2MP) technology to transfer sensor data and wired I/O control commands between a single Master node and two remote Slave nodes installed in other locations. The system transfers multiple digital and analog signals over short, medium, and long distances using 2.4 GHz, 900 MHz, or 868 MHz radios. The master and remote nodes can be connected to the wiring arms of PLC and RTU stations; each node contains a configurable fail safe mode, an independent alarm contact output, and a local buzzer.
