Built to measure drilling fluid pressure and flow to keep oil field equipment operating while preventing damage or equipment failures, Honeywell extends its Wing Union/Hammer Union Pressure Sensor portfolio with the addition of models 435/437 and a protective cage option. The 435 and 437 sensors offer pressure ranges of 5,000 psi up to 20,000 psi and provide a durable all-welded, stainless assembly with Inconel X-750 wetted parts. The protective cage option offered on the new models provides protection against miss-hits during installation of the wing union and offers additional electrical connector protection on the pressure sensor. It is RFI/EMI protected and CE approved. All configurations of the new models are intrinsically safe and carry global approvals such as CFMUS, ATEX, and IEC-Ex certification for use in hazardous environments.
