Widely-Tunable Ultrafast Laser Performs Multi-Photon Imaging

InSight DS+ embarks as a widely-tunable ultrafast laser system with enhanced power levels over its predecessor, the InSight DeepSee. The DS+ laser system features ultra-short pulses over a very broad tuning range of 680 to 1300 nm to deliver continuous, fully-automated tuning from a single beam. A second beam provides simultaneous dual-wavelength output at 1041 nm for multimodal imaging. Notable, the InSight DS+ is suitable for in vivo deep tissue imaging for neuroscience, cell biology, and other life science research. Other features include power levels greater than 1.2W at 900 nm, greater than 1W at 1,000 nm, more than 0.7 W at 1,200 nm, and continuous, 680 to 1,300 nm gap-free tuning.
