The Type 9269A RoaDyn S6HT System 2000 from Kistler North America, Novi, MI, is designed to measure 3 forces and 3 moments during chassis and component road load DA (RLDA) and other on-road heavy truck, bus, civilian, and military special vehicle testing applications. The six-component wheel force transducer (WFT) has a specialty electronics platform and incorporates 6 replaceable 3-component heavy-duty load cells, each of which can be replaced without recalibrating the entire system. The WFT mounts between the wheel hub and ring and may be used in single, dual, super-single, or wide-base configuration and is compatible with 17.5–28 in. rims.
