The First Responder Plus from
Sensicore, Ann Arbor, MI, lets first responders such as fire, police, and health departments and municipal water system operators quickly analyze water samples for out-of-tolerance conditions and contaminants and to pinpoint the source of the problem on a Web-based graphical interface. The package combines the WaterPOINT 870 sensor-based water profiling system and Internet-based WaterNOW software for real-time monitoring, data visualization alarming and decision support. The WaterPOINT 870 can concurrently test for 18 different water parameters, giving results in ~5 min.
