The VISC1000 from Norcross Corp., Newton, MA, can monitor and control viscosity for from 1–3 stations in inline or in-tank processes such as adhesives, coatings, food ingredients, and printing inks. Features include a touchscreen interface displaying process parameters and trend data for each station. The system lets you change each station separately, such as air valve, solvent control parameters, set points, high/low alarms, and color codes for ingredients. It displays set point, actual viscosity, alarms, and automatic/manual mode for each station as well as providing real-time data logging and allowing on-the-fly viscosity parameter changes.
