Harvestor-III power modules from Advanced Cerametrics Inc., Lambertville, NJ, use the company's piezoelectric fiber composites to capture mechanical vibration energy from the environment to provide perpetual electric power for microcircuit applications. The devices can provide continuous voltage output to replace or augment battery power in many applications. Modules feature energy management circuitry, a range of resonant frequencies with broad frequency response around the resonance for optimum in-situ performance, and regulated 3 and 3.3 VDC output. Modules include the H30, H60, H120, and H220 with center frequencies of 30 Hz, 60 Hz, 120 Hz, and 220 Hz respectively.
