ST Series CW power sensors from Saelig Co. Inc., Pittsford, NY, are miniature power meters that cover a 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz range at levels of –50 to 20 dBm. The Schottky-diode-based meters contain a microcontroller that monitors the sensor, processes the measurement results, and interfaces measurement data and settings via a USB-connected desktop or laptop PC. A PDA-compatible version is also available. The ST Series can operate with multiple sensor heads connected to the PC. Applications include installation and maintenance, manufacturing test, ATE, and research and development for terrestrial and satellite communication, radar, telemetry, electronic warfare, electronic countermeasures, and other wireless communications products.
