The DT9832 Series from Data Translation Inc., Marlboro, MA, are simultaneous analog input multifunction DA modules for USB 2.0. The DT9832 offers 1.25 MHz throughput per channel, four 16-bit analog inputs, and 0 or 2 analog outputs while the DT9832A offers 2.0 MHz throughput per channel, two 16-bit analog inputs, and 0 or 2 analog outputs. Both include 32 digital I/O, two 32-bit counter timers, and 3 quadrature decoders. Each analog channel has its own 16-bit ADC that uses a common clock and trigger for simultaneous and synchronous sampling of all analog and digital inputs.
