The updated 758 Series IPCs from WAGO Corp., Germantown, WI, are PC and PLC hybrids that pair CoDeSys V2 software, Linux OS, IEC programming languages, and multiple onboard fieldbus protocols for real-time control applications. Interfaces include compact flash, USB, RS-232, DVI ports, independent Ethernet ports, and support for Profibus and CANopen. CoDeSys V2 lets you develop IEC 61131, C, or C++ user-defined function blocks. Four IPC variants provide up to 256 MB of RAM and up to 512 MB of flash memory for large system programs and data logging. Features include Web-based management, passive cooling, nonrotating data storage media, UL 508 and CE listings, and operating temperature range from –20°C to 60°C.
